The key to the Christian walk is to learn to receive on a consistant basis. The believer's walk is not one of acheiving but receiving.
Colossians 2:6 declares: " As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him." In other words; the same way you received Jesus continue to walk in the same manner.
The only way anyone can receive Christ is to simply trust in what Jesus has done for us on the Cross.It is the only work that works and it is the finished work.
The Christian walk is not Jesus plus one's best effort. No Jesus plus anything equals nothing whereas Jesus plus nothing equals everything.
Another way to see the walk of faith is to realize that a person is not blessed because they are good. That individual is blessed because Jesus is good and they put faith in and receive His goodness. Wow
