Hebrews 5:13, 14 state: "For everyone that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.(v14) But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use(habit) have their senses exercised (trained) to discern both good and evil."
I believe that these verses teach us how our Father defines a baby Christian and a mature believer.
The termonology of "word of righteousness" is used in this context. Whenever a Christian hears the Gospel or word of righteousness and they think of right doing or acheiving; that person is a baby believer.
On the other hand when the Gospel is heard and a person hears righteousness as a gift to be received they are on the road to maturity.
As a child of God our doing is a receiving ( see Romans 5:17) The more we receive from Him the more we have to give to others. Wow You are so blessed in Jesus.
