This verse is not teaching that one's faith becomes effective through a perfect love walk.A love walk is a result of realizing God's love for you.
An individual's faith becomes energized, operative, and effective via a realization of how much the Lord loves you as His child. The more this understanding takes root the more faith is enaged.
