"For sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under the law, but under Grace."Romans 6:14
This verse declares that sin will not exercise lordship over a Christian who is not under law but under Grace.
Grace is the undeserved, unmerited, favor of God that the believer has access to through faith in what Jesus has done on the cross.
We do not relate to God by law but by Grace only. Grace is the undeserved favor of God and the only way to forfeit undeserved favor is to try to deserve it.
This involves realizing that you are not blessed because you are good; but you are blessed because He is good. Wow
The more one is under Grace the more sin will not dominate them.
