This Week...
To often Christians are looking at their condition (in the natural) rather than their position ( in Christ).
This was occuring with the church in Smyrna.
In Revelation chapter 2 and verse 9 the Word to them states as follows: " I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, ( but thou art rich)..."
The Lord was not denying their current situation in the natural but was attempting to get these believers to look at a position in Him that is a whole lot bigger than the circumstances they were encountering.
The message is powerful. "thou art rich." wow
As a believer we need to understand that in Christ we are rich.
May this be the song from your heart as you look not at the things that are seen which are subject to change, but at the things that are eternal. (see 2 Cor.4:18)
