This Week...
In this devotional I would like to discuss revelation knowledge.
There are truths from the Word that I have been seeing for years and still continue to receive revelation from. It is amazing.
That is why there may be times when we will actually discuss some of the same passages that were discussed before. It is fresh revelation, even though I have been there many times before.
1 Corinthians 8:2 states: "And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know."
Notice it did not say that the person who thinks he knows something does not actually know something. I believe that one who does not know as they ought is an individual who thinks that they know something in a completed sense. In other words the man or woman believes that they know well enough, so that there is no need to learn anymore.
Knowing something as you ought is the realization that you cannot exhaust the knowledge of God. Like the layers on an onion there is always greater insight to be gained from the breadth, the length, and the height of God's Word.
The Word of God NEVER gets old. There are always fresh insights as the Holy Spirit is allowed to teach the teachable.
Remember: "You are in better shape than anyone has ever told you because of the Cross."
