This Week...
So often we pray for God to use us. We need to understand that God desires to use us more than we desire to be used.
In fact the desire to be used by God comes directly from Him.
Romans 12:2 teaches us not to be conformed to this world so that we may prove or manifest the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
In order to see this happen we must receive the instruction of the preceding verse. Romans 12:1 states: "I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
The key to not being conformed to this world and fulfilling the Lord's will for your life is to first present your bodies as a living sacrifice unto God. But how does one do this?
The answer is simple. Instead of praying:" Father use me"; we need to first pray:" Father make me usable."
Remember your Father loves you way to much to put you in a position of ministry that you are not ready for. Just rest in Jesus and trust Him as He uses you where you are at and increases your capacity to be used. You ARE Blessed.
