The Bible teaches the believer that if their heart condemns them that God is greater than that and knows everything.The Word goes on to say that if one's heart does not condemn them than they have confidence with God and receive answers to prayer.(see 1 John 3:20-22)
The key to confidence with the Lord is to have a heart that is not condemned. The key to a heart that is free from condemnation is realize that because of the cross all sin has been dealt with.
Hence, because of Jesus overpayment for sin on the cross and our receiving of this payment of the sin debt; guilt should not be an issue.
The righteousness that the Christian has received is a gift.(see Romans 5:17) It is the righteousness of Jesus.(see 2Cor.5:21) Wow
Rest assured this righteousness is not a second class righteousness.
You and I as Christians have a first class righteousness. So take your seat in the first class section with Christ. (see Ephesians 2:6) You are so blessed.
